Welcome to Minarets........ We at Minarets are extremely proud of our 3 generation family all of whom are
involved in dogs.Since 1960 we have built up and established ourselves a great reputation for consistently producing a strong type which are sound and healthy.
Minarets were one of the first breeders in the UK to Optigen DNA test for the PRCD form of PRA, and along with the DNA test we still continue to test our stock on the BVA/KC Scheme, ensuring that our world-famous lines are as healthy as possible whilst maintaining our distinguished 'type, balance and soundness'.
Minarets Poodles have always been synonymous with Miniature Poodles, but over the years we have been joined by Standard Poodles, Toy Poodles and as recently as the summer of 2015, we added an American Cocker Spaniel to our growing family.
Minarets is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley in Lancashire, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are surrounded by beautiful picturesque countryside, perfect for our family of Poodles and our American Cocker.

On the 15th September 2016 our own Gorgeous George (Ch M Secret Amition) was one of the represenatives of 216 pedigree breeds taking part in the Pedigree Paws Unite event, covering 160 miles in 7 locations in the UK with the aim of raising £70,000 for charity. George and Melanie took part on Day 4 along the Lancaster Canal route and completed nearly 18 miles, raising just short of £700.
